This spawned a conversation about which of his friends had been there recently for a school. One of them he mentioned was about to graduate and so we gave him a call, thinking we could say hello. When he called David back it turned out that he and his wife live a few miles from us! So when we got back home we ended up going to their house for dinner. Good stuff. We felt kind of bad, though, that when we realized it was 8:30 pm (time flew!) we practically got up from the table and ran out the door. Lexi needed to be in bed! They understood and we will see them again soon.
Back to the museum. It's a very nice museum. Very well done. Lots of history of the wars and how the Marines were used in those wars. There was so much - we definitely had to just walk through some of it looking around. We just couldn't read all of it. We could definitely go there again! We had a wonderful weekend. This was on Sunday, preceded by a relaxing Saturday together. I love my little family.
Attempt at a photo outside the museum - Lexi REALLY likes mommy's hair.
The museum
Lexi figured out how to scrunch her eyes like this and thinks it is quite fun! (having a snack at the museum)
