Preakness

We don't know anything about horse racing, but David's cousin and his wife had a Preakness Party Saturday evening. They live about 45 minutes away from us in Maryland. The Preakness is a horse race that takes place in Maryland. That's really all I know. Oh, I also know that there is a really big silver trophy for the winner, horse jockeys are very short, and the horse that I drew to root for came in dead last. We had a good time. They had yummy food and we got to see cousins. Unfortunately we did not capture on camera or video the sweetness that occurred right before we left to come back home. I was changing Lexi's diaper on the floor and getting her into pj's. Scot and Cindy, the hosts of the party, have two sweet girls and they had just taken a bath. Lexa, the younger of the two came over and started stroking Lexi's head, so very gently. Then Bella came and was talking to Lexi and showing her stuffed animal to Lexi. It was the sweetest few minutes. The girls were just precious. It was great to see some family.
