Last week I realized that I had been place Lexi on the floor sitting all the time so she had not spent much time on her back or tummy. I decided to change that. The funny thing is that sometimes Lexi would lay there on her back, not rolling, just looking at me and making noises to let me know she was disgruntled with her placement. Depends on the time of day, though. I put her down and she started babbling and rolling all around. So I pulled out the camera. I took this while she was roaming around. (don't get to excited - she isn't actually crawling or walking or anything, but she successfully moved all around the rug by rolling, spinning and a little scootin')
She got over onto the hard floor and was sliding herself backwards. She wasn't too happy, though, until she caught her reflection in the glass.
That is a great sign!! You don't want to freak out when she's 13 months old and still not moving (take it from me). Scooting, pivoting is so awesome. Way to go Lexi
