We found out about a week and a half ago that David got on a job - he has been in the office estimating since we moved here. This is very good news. This is what we were hoping for. David is very excited about it and the people he will be working with. David can't tell you anything else about it, though. Ah well, it's good, none the less.
So we are moving within the next month to month and a half (just praying the final paperwork comes in this week that is necessary to solidify this). This past Saturday we drove to the town in MD we will be living in or near - about 1 hour 15 minutes from where we live now. It's nice there - there are green hills and lots of trees. It's approaching the Appalachian Mountains. So we think it will be nice to live there - the estimate is about 2 years. That's a long time for us, isn't it? :) The town has a historical downtown district with some shops and restaurants, so we stopped in for a stroll and some yummy dinner at a brewery. This turned in to my mother's day dinner. We didn't want to deal with the crowds on Sunday. Since it was my mother's day dinner I got a filet mignon. Mmmmm. It was tasty.
