Building the track

Last Friday, as that big snow storm was beginning, Lexi was having a little play time before her nap. She ran to get me in the other room, holding the two uphill/downhill pieces of track, saying she needed help. I came out and found that she had all the track pieces together, but couldn't figure out the bridge, so we assembled those last pieces together. Then she pointed to the end of the track and said, "I don't know what do with this!" I told her we didn't have any more track so we could just have Thomas go back and forth on this great, long track she built. I explained that he could just turn around at the ends. She ran to the other end, pointed and said, "I don't know what do with this!" I repeated myself. Then she started Thomas down the track.

This is how Thomas got turned around. I love examples of how little minds work!

Taking another pass down the track. She really likes to play with trains!

This is a good town to like trains in... every 10 feet there is another track, usually with a cha-choo on it!
