On the potty!

I have some other things I want to post about, but I have to go to bed so I wanted to get this on here before another day goes by. Yesterday after Lexi woke up from her nap I took Lexi into the bathroom and I asked her if she wanted to sit on the big potty. I put her new little seat on the toilet and pointed it out to her and asked if she wanted to sit on it. She shook her head yes so on she went. She sat there looking at her new perspective, pointing at her bath toys, playing with the toilet paper holder. I thought maybe she would sit there for a while and actually go so I could make a big deal of it. I asked her if she wanted to get down and she shook her head no. Then I heard something! Turns out she REALLY figured it out! I was so proud! I made a really big deal and she just kind of looked at me with a grin. I don't know if she really got it or not, but then daddy got home and he made a big deal and we gave her a sticker. So we will have to try it again soon. I was just amazed because I was just hoping that she would be willing to sit there!
