Christmas Update #4

David's work Christmas party was the Sky Dome at the top of a hotel in Arlington, VA. It was one of those rotating rooms, with a rotating floor in the middle. I found myself standing over the seam of the two floors a couple times. Don't do that. Especially not in very high heals. You might be thinking I fell. I didn't. But I almost did that that is good enough.

Anyway, it would have been an overnight, but illness messed up our well laid plans. Luckily, good friends in town stepped in and helped out so we could attend together and we just drove back that night. It was great to see some of David's co-workers that he doesn't work with on a daily basis. They are a part of his district, but he is on a job site with just a few. We had a great time. It was fun to dress up, too! I finally had an opportunity to wear a necklace that was my grandmothers and a dress I picked up on a clearance rack a year ago!

The next evening we enjoyed celebrating Christmas with the Mom's group/play group that Lexi and I do things with all the time. It was a lot of fun and we got a great group shot with almost everyone!

Personally, I really like this profile shot. Something about it. Thank honey for taking this one.

And the lovely faces.

And the happy family after a fun evening.

I totally stole the group shot from you;~) I think it's the best one out there!

Classiest couple at the party I'll bet. Love the dress Kari. Need a full length shot.

Love those shots of your "group." It's must the the largest play group ever and it's so cool that you get together regularly. Pretty special. And what cute kids!
