Another Christmas update...I lost count

In preparation for Christmas we had some creative juices flowing! It was a lot of fun and I am working on coming up with more projects for the future. I will have to share our most recent one soon.

Frames for her cousin and daddy. Lexi also helped paint the letters. I then highlighted the edges with a red paint pen. I felt bad covering up her beautiful paint strokes, but I was able to place the letters so that a lot of it showed.

Ornaments for ourselves and the grandparents. I painted a base coat mixed with gold paint on brown paper ornaments, then she added her masterpieces! I did add a coat of a spray sealant after adding the year and a note on the back.

The beginnings of some personalize wrapping.

My new wrapping assistant - tape is so much fun!

She had a lot of fun painting and using her markers. I will have to get the paints out again soon - she was so deliberate with the paint brush and did a great job dipping the paint brush into the same color, at least at the beginning. I am really enjoying doing projects with Lexi now. She is so interested and eager to try any thing!

Everything looks great! I bet Lexi had a blast. Miss E loves projects too...and TAPE. All the Christmas presents were super sealed this year.
