This was back in the middle of May. Just an evening playing after dinner. I found this small, inexpensive golf set one day and I had to get it. We we wanting more things to actually play with when outside and this is a hit. But more importantly, daddy thinks it's great :). Really, she likes to pull the bag around or push it around or carry it around. The golf balls snap into the side and are great fun to throw. Then she has to use both hands and her chin to carry all three of them because she has to have all three at the same time, of course. She loves to play with daddy.
Waving to a passer by, or wanting to pet a dog. Probably the later.
This girl loves to swing. But first she must buckle herself in.
I love you daddy.
From yesterday:
She said "i love you" last night for the first time out loud. We have been signing it to each other for quite awhile, mostly at bed time. Last night, as daddy was leaving the room after saying good night the sign was accompanied by a sweet little voice saying, "i love you." We both completely melted. Then she said it again with what sounded like a "too" and some other syllables. That was so special for David. I have gotten a lot of her firsts. This one is for the memory bank. We know she doesn't know what it means, exactly, but she knows we love her and she knows it's good and she wants to say it back and that makes us happy.

Awwwww! Happy moments :)
Ok... I just melted a little. How sweet!
Moments like that just cancel out all the frustrations of the day! So glad for David getting to witness such a "melty moment" (to coin Sarah's phrase)!
Mike loves golf as well and when we sawe that golf set last summer, her had to get it for her.
Ahhh so cute... you know Tiger Woods started golfing very young too...hmmmm
I got a little misty-eyed reading this. How sweet!
Awww…I think she does know what it means. :)
Cute golf set too! I think Eliza would like a golf set too, however, I fear it would be a hazard to us all! She's wild enough with the swiffer!
Congrats on the I love you :) We're still waiting on Tyler but he's getting closer!
Love the golf set. Tyler has one, although he's half eaten his balls (meaning they're squished in on one side). We're still trying to teach him that it's a golf club, not a baseball bat, which he totally has down :)
