Isn't she sweet? This was taken on her 17 month day.
I just found her this cute book shelf so she now has all her board books accessible. It's almost the only things she does when we are home! Our little reader. She sits and flips pages and points to things in the book. She points when we read to her and makes her question noise, but by herself she just points around to things. So sweet. And then, of course, I trip over things like Goodnight Moon in the kitchen...oh well - she loves her books!
And her bracelets. Some of you may recognize these things on her wrists as links commonly used in homes with small children. Lexi decided they are bracelets and she puts them on and walks around the house. Her new way to get them off? Shake her hands and arms as they go flying!
p.s. This is a little over board, as encouraged by her father for the photo. She doesn't usually take on this many at one time :).
And she can take bites. This is her first time eating a sandwich without having it cut into smaller pieces to hold and take bites of. She really likes to feed herself any way she can.
We love you our sweet little independent girl!

Very cute bookshelf! I looked at the pix close up to see what the little pumpkin likes to read and it looks like lots of good books! :) Eliza would have fun at your house too.

Tyler wears those things on his hands as bracelets too. He also likes to wear my necklaces, daddy doesn't enjoy this :)
