Last week Lexi graduated at her gym class. She isn't actually quite old enough yet, but she is moving up with some other kids that are a little older. Originally the graduation was supposed to be a couple of weeks ago, but it was bumped up a week because of that silly barely any snow that made the silly people here close schools. It was very cute, but VERY crowded! They did make up for a couple of classes together and there were a lot of kids and adults there! There were a lot of dads, as well as some grandparents and others. The idea is that they get to show off some of their skills and then they get a medal at the end on a podium and everything! David might actually try to go next time. We didn't know what to expect so we didn't really think that it would make sense for him to miss some work. The only down side was that Lexi is the littlest one and with all the kids the next level up there running around she was kind of on the fringes. I was just trying to make sure she didn't get knocked over! But she did get to try out all the skills again.
She loves walking on her hands and doing a forward roll on the balance beam, as well as climbing up the steps to the beam. More please!
She loves doing forward rolls. She puts her hands down and tucks her head right away - she just can't get over by herself yet!
Bubbles! They use sugar bubbles so they don't pop right away and she ends up with unpopped bubbles on her hair.
On the podium - can I hear my fans? :) A fellow mom friend graciously took some photos for me - thanks Jessi!
Ta da!

Yay, Lexi! Good job! Can't wait to see your medal -- and see you do your rolls. We'll help, of course. See you soon. Love you to pieces.
In the first picture (with the lady in the green shirt) the picture in the background is placed just right to make it look like Lexi has little pony tails. It took me back -- looks like a little Kari standing there! :) Thanks for the pictures, Kari.
Wow! This is so cute and cool! Congrats Lexi, what a feat :)
Way to go! Is that Gymboree?
