After getting out of the maze we took the opportunity to get Lexi down in the grass by the corn stalks. A great photo op! She had a great time pulling apart the corn husk pieces and then handing the pieces to daddy. And she likes the breeze on her face so she was pretty happy. You can see some more photos HERE.
Once we were home and had Lexi down for her nap we headed outside to tackle the landscaping in the front of the house. It probably hasn't been touched since June or July. David was out there with me until Lexi woke up. I was out there a total of about 3 hours. There are roses, which are lovely, but very thorny. I just cut away at those. Hopefully I didn't destroy them, but we can't have them growing all over the place. We might want to let Lexi outside sometime, ya know?
Anyway, that evening we went to try out a local sports bar & grill place. Our neighbor has a couple daughters that work there and we happened to have one of them as our server. The food was good! We had way too many wings, but we both finished our meals anyway. We enjoyed that after a good day.
Here are a few photos from the weekend. There are more in the web album linked above.

Sounds like a fun day!
Lexi, you look so cute in your hat and warm coat. And it looks like you're getting pretty good getting those feet under you and balancing. Mommy & Daddy think you get around now -- you'll soon show them what "busy" means!!
Great family picture!
You captured the "peek a boo" expressions so well!! Wow! That pair of pics with daddy will be so memorable down the road. Priceless! Hope you are doing well!
I think Lexi is so cute in the corn picture, and the "Where's Daddy?" picture. Love,
Ben
