Alexa had her 4 month check up today. She will be 5 months in like a week and a half, but whatever. Anyway, she grew 2 inches and gained 3 pounds! Way to go little one! She also got her shots again. She did so good - she cried, but then she calmed down right away. Before the shots she was showing off for the doctor - holding her head straight and steady, rolling from her tummy, talking, grabbing things. Good stuff.
She has done really well today too. She sat in her bouncy seat so that I could vacuum the dining/family room area with the new powerful wonderful vacuum. And dinner is ready to eat any minute. Woo hoo!

You're getting to be a big girl - rolling, "talking," and grabbing. But most of all, you showed mercy on your mother and handled the shots quite bravely from the sound of things.
Life's full o' hurts and discomforts--what a blessing to learn about them surrounded by the soothing love and security of the parents God gifted you to.

Wow! I'm impressed, Lexi. Eliza continues to be terrified of the vacuum, hairdryers, food choppers, coffee grinders...etc!
Speaking of vacuums, it sounds like you have a new one? If so, what kind did you get?
