Alexa's new jumper and Alexa's game

Alexa tried out her new jumper on Sunday evening after we finally got it all clean. We picked it up at Once Upon A Child for a good deal less and in great condition - so cleaning was a must!
We set Lexi in facing the frog and she immediately grabbed on and tried as hard as she could to get it to her mouth. Since that wasn't possible she worked very hard at spinning it and moving the beads around on the bar. It was really cute how excited she was about it. Such a new and different perspective for her!

On another note, last night when daddy got home from work he was holding Lexi and mommy was getting dinner on the table. We thought Lexi was hungry because she would fuss and as soon as mommy would look at her she would smile and laugh. She did this over and over! Then she sat in her bouncey seat and played for almost 30 minutes while mommy and daddy ate dinner before she ate! She was playing a game with us - she is so fun. We just can't get enough. She is just become so much more aware of what is going on. She also likes to help mommy take a drink of her water. In the tub she tries to grab the cup we rinse her with and get the water pouring out into her mouth. Such a little helper!
