We had another ultrasound last week - we went to a high-risk OB in Sacramento. The last ultrasound showed an echogenic focus (a bright spot) in the left ventricle in her heart. We were told that most of the time this is nothing, but sometimes it is a marker for Down Syndrome. So we were given the option to have another ultrasound done by a high-risk OB who specializes in these things. He seemed pretty unconcerned (not in a bad way) and said that 5% of babies have this type of spot show up in their heart, which is simply a build up of calcium. They don't know why it happens, but it doesn't have any impact on the heart function. He seemed pretty sure that was all this spot was - of course they can't know for sure. Anyway, so we aren't concerned and she is very healthy in every way they can tell in the ultrasound - and she has a healthy kick! :)

Wow! Looks like Baby Millen will have long legs! Very fun. Thanks for sharing.
3D baby G still looks a bit wierd. Not to worry, tho. Odds are the real thing will be better than that (like - not so gray and shiny)
