...so this is a good time to talk about it, right?
Lexi and I enjoyed a fun Easter party with friends - yummy food, egg coloring, egg hunt - and we all enjoyed a potluck on Sat. with friends doing another egg hunt.
We had a really nice Easter, just our little family. I wanted to make it special for us and try to start some traditions. I know that our scavenger hunt for Lexi must stay. She loved it! David and I came up clues and put them in plastic eggs that we placed in eight different spots in the house. Lexi was so excited to hear each clue and get to the next spot. I thought eight might be too many, but we could have done more! They all led her to her Easter basket, which was hidden under her slide in the playroom.
We were saying that we were dying Easter eggs and Lexi said, "Like Jesus dying on the cross!" We started calling it coloring eggs. Guess that can be confusing for a 2 1/2 year old!

Found the basket! It was actually hidden underneath so she had to find it this time.

Time out for posing like zebra!

Our sweetie.

I will have to share about our food later, but we ate well that weekend and Lexi helped!

I like your dress, Miss Lexi. Blue is one of my favorite colors on little girls. :)
Looks like ma and pa did a great job of giving you lots of fun things to do over Easter. Yay!
I am in love with that blue dress! Just gorgeous!
