Anyway, David volunteered for a shift at the bounce house (because really he wanted to play in it but there were too many kids :) and was convinced to sign up for the pie eating contest. I promised I would blog about this one so I couldn't skip it. There was actually a tie in the first round so he was the champion in the tie breaker round. Oh my. Way to make your entrance, honey.
He told me later that he was a little nervous because he thought it would be quantity, but it was just speed. Well, he does have a large mouth.
Yes, that thing around his neck does say that. Hilarious!
She had some fun on the BIG slide. She likes the slide like this at the park, but it is much smaller. She went down by herself, though, and ended with a smile!
They were doing hay rack rides around the property so Lexi had her first. Happy family.
She also had her first bonfire, but wouldn't try the marshmallow. Maybe she was scared it would be hot? I don't know. But she loves her veggies so I'm leaving it alone.
It was getting chilly!

I am so proud, brother! :)
By herself! I about panicked when Chase and Alexander made a beeline for the stairs!
As for Dave... you have quite a man there Kari ;~)
I've heard that David likes pie, but now this takes it to a new level.
Oh, and now I know why Ms. GreenCM is making a bazillion pies for Thanksgiving…
