We are actually moving

The movers are coming next week! Craziness never stops. We signed a lease on Wed. for the new place in the new town. We are going to go do cleaning and try out a church this weekend. Then next Wed. the movers will be here packing our things. By next Friday or Saturday our things will be in a new place. So we are in a busy time. Wanted to fill you all in, though.

Lexi is doing great. She has been a bit out of sorts, but I think she can just tell some things are happening around here and she has been slowly weaning to whole milk from nursing. The transition from nursing to whole milk is actually hard for me. I'm missing the cuddly time. She isn't so cuddly - more fidgety - with the milk in a sippy. We went a whole year and I am so happy we did! Also, she has a couple teeth in the front coming in and another molar. Maybe that explains why now when she takes a drink out of her sippy cup she dribbles all down her shirt

Tonight we had dinner with new, nice neighbors that we are sad to not get a chance to know better. Lexi was completely showing off for them. It was really cute, doing all her tricks and flashing lots of smiles. They have a new puppy and she loved that. She was keeping an eye on him and pointing to him all night. She was timid, but wanting to get close and then not too close. He licked her fingers a couple times and she handled that well. We will see how our crazy weekend goes. We are loading up with a gate and some toys to try to occupy her so we can clean, clean, clean...
