Patience...
Kari was due last week and the doctor think our little one is already over 8 lbs. so we went into the hospital this morning at 6 am for Kari's doctor to begin induction. About 7 am they started the pitocin and it was gradually increased all day - until about 6 pm when it was decision time. Progress was made - 80% effaced and 2-3 cm dilated - and many contractions were had - didn't really get uncomfortable until the last hour or two. We basically had two options - either break the water bag or go home. Neither of us felt comfortable with breaking Kari's water at this point - so we went home. We decided we will see what happens in the next day and a half and we are tentatively scheduled to head back in Friday morning. So we will see what happens. Feel free to pray for Kari to go into labor on her own before then...thanks for checking in on us.
